Federico A. Boyd

Federico (Fred) is a principal of FA Boyd, P.C. and has practiced exclusively in the field of community association/condominium and golf and country club law since 1993.  He represents developers in the development of residential and commercial master-planned communities, condominiums, and multi-use communities.  He also represents developers of resorts and private equity and non-equity country clubs.  In addition to establishing and implementing community governance structures and club membership programs, Fred has extensive experience in federal and state land sales compliance and in creating builder programs for planned communities.  Fred represents developers ranging from individuals to publicly-traded companies throughout the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.

 

Fred earned a B.S.B.A. from the University of Florida (with Honors), an M.B.A. from Louisiana State University, and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University.

 

As a member of the Urban Land Institute, Fred spoke at the ULI Real Estate Trends Conference presented by the ULI-Atlanta District Council and at ULI's Developing Master-Planned Communities conference.

 

Fred is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the State Bar of California. Fred and his wife, Cindy, have two children and reside in Atlanta, Georgia.  A native of Panama, he is fluent in Spanish.
